Our head coach, Sean, has over 15 years’ experience of archery. He is an Archery GB County Coach, Archery GB judge and mentor for the Archery GB Young Ambassador’s programme. He is also the Norfolk Archery Team Manager. He primarily shoots a compound bow, but also competes with a recurve bow and has even been known to shoot longbow. He loves all things related to all forms of archery and is also a KATTA (UK Knife, Axe and Tomahawk Throwing Association) trained instructor.
Frank is an Archery GB Level 2 Coach and he shoots a compound bow in competitions. He used to play American football and when you meet him you will have no difficulty imagining him on the American football field. Affectionately referred to as our gentle giant, Frank loves nothing more than to encourage new archers of all ages.
Laura is an Archery GB level 1 coach and is one of our Archery GB Young Ambassadors. She shoots compound bow in competitions and in addition to having been Cambridgeshire County Champion she attained Junior Master Bowman (placing her within the top 4% of UK under 18 archers). She is also a KATTA (UK Knife, Axe and Tomahawk Throwing Association) trained instructor and the master of throwing the double bit felling axe. Laura is currently taking a gap year before starting university and her gentle, but confident, coaching style is appreciated by all she coaches.
Jenna is an Archery GB Level 1 coach and is one of our Archery GB Young Ambassadors. She shoots a recurve bow in competitions and has been Norfolk County Champion. She is currently at University studying Sport and Exercise Science. She brings her enthusiasm and her sports science skills to coaching groups of all ages when she coaches during University holidays.
Den is an Archery GB Level 1 Coach and he is a volunteer coach. He is also our Child Protection Officer. He shoots a compound bow and competes for the British Police Archery Association as well as for Grey Goose Archers. He is also a KATTA (UK Knife, Axe and Tomahawk Throwing Association) trained instructor.
Sarah completed her Archery GB Level 1 training and volunteers her time as our education officer. She trained as an archaeologist and divides her time between teaching in school and writing archaeological education resources for schools and museums worldwide. She may be seen shooting her horse bow or helping coach archery to children and families.
Thomas is the youngest member of our team and he has been surrounded by archery all his life. He shot compound bow in competitions where he became Cambridgeshire County Champion, but more recently he has moved to longbow. He is also one of our Archery GB Young Ambassadors. He is currently busy studying for his GCSEs and spends much of his free time bouldering or working with a falconry display team. However, during holidays he can be seen helping coach groups.
