Pay as you Aim Location

Our shooting range is located just outside King’s Lynn, West Norfolk.

The address is – The Quarry, Mill Drove, Blackborough End, Norfolk, PE32 1SW. You are looking for a large yellow gate with Grey Goose Archery signs outside.

Please note our office / postal address is – 149 Broomhill, Downham Market, PE38 9QU, this is not the shooting range.

It is important for health and safety reasons that we have strict gate control.

The gate to the Quarry will be unlocked 10 minutes before the first session of the day. When you arrive the gate may be closed, this is normal. Please check to see if it is locked. If unlocked you may push open the gate and enter. After entering please push the gate closed behind you.

It is very important that the gate is closed whilst shooting sessions are running.

However, in the unlikely event of a problem gaining access to the range you will find my mobile number on the gate so I can be contacted.

Since The Quarry is an outdoor venue it is necessary to wear clothing suitable for the weather. However, layers of clothing are much more appropriate than bulky clothing

Sturdy footwear is advisable and nothing open toed when shooting due to health and safety. The Quarry is a suntrap, so suntan lotion is advisable in clear conditions and you should bring plenty of water with you.

Grey Goose archery often takes photographs for publicity purposes. These images may appear on either our website or Facebook page. We may also send them to the news media. If you would rather we didn’t take any photographs please let your instructor know on the day.

Health & Safety.

The Quarry has a large rabbit population and they love to dig holes. Therefore, be very careful when moving around the site and be aware that the ground is also uneven. After heavy rain the grass may be slippery so take extra care when moving around the site.

Please stay within the shooting ranges and car park, as all other areas are private. Do not climb any of the banks around The Quarry: this is for your own safety, but one area is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Grey Goose Archery cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of property or vehicles parked in the car park.

Dogs on leads are welcome, toilets are available and the wearing of green tights is optional.

Finally, in the unlikely event of a fire, please follow all instructions and meet at the fire assembly point. The fire assembly point is at the top of the car park and is by the pole with a flag.
